Msgr. Sork became Pastor of SJF in June 1999. A second generation native of Los Angeles, he earned a B.A. in Philosophy and an M.A. in Religion from St. John's College and was ordained in 1970. He received a second M.A. and Ph.D. in Religious Education from Fordham University. Prior to coming to SJF he was Pastor at St. Louis of France in La Puente since 1987. He has had a number of parish and diocesan assignments in both California and New York.
