Tools for Growth…on the Journey
I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them. I ask all of you to do this unfailingly every day. – Pope Francis
Sanctus is a Latin word that means, “holy.” We are all called to be holy, to holiness. Living a holy life means living out Jesus’ command to love one another as he has loved us.
During a Sanctus retreat, you will have time for prayer and reflection on your relationship with Jesus Christ and your call to holiness.
You are invited to attend a Sanctus retreat at anytime. The retreat is a one-day opportunity to draw closer to Jesus and his church. Several are held here during the year. The retreats are here at the parish, and open to anyone at no charge.
The upcoming Sanctus retreats for 2016-2017 are October 15, 2016 and April 22, 2017.
To register, email Chris Acherman.
What if I am not Catholic?
As our sign at the corner says, St. John Fisher is “A Catholic community for all!”
You are welcome at any of our gatherings and offerings throughout the year.
If you desire to know more about Jesus, might we suggest the Sanctus retreat. It is not limited to Catholic parishioners but is open to anyone who is interested in attending.
If you would like to explore a relationship with Jesus in a more intimate setting, check out RCIA. It is a small group of like-minded individuals who desire to meet Jesus and his Church. It meets most Sundays at 10:30 am in the Parish Conference Room.
